Mr. Hahne was born in Brooklyn, December 6, 1920, son of the late Carl Hahne and Holly Cunningham.  &lt;br /&gt;
==Education==&lt;br /&gt;
He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School. &lt;br /&gt;
==Marriage and Children==&lt;br /&gt;
Carl married Britta Anderson and had three daughters and four sons. The daughters are Carlotta, Nadine, and Britta Hahne. The sons are Grant, Bruce, Carl III, and Neil Hahne. &lt;br /&gt;
==Occupation==&lt;br /&gt;
Mr. Hahne retired from the Stevens-Hahne Agency as president in July, 1982. &lt;br /&gt;
==Military Service==&lt;br /&gt;
Carl served in World War II and fought in the Naples and the Rome-Arno Campaigns. &lt;br /&gt;
==Death==&lt;br /&gt;
Carl died August 18, 1987 at the Albany VA Medical Center after a long illness. &lt;br /&gt;

Obituary&lt;br /&gt;
Carl Hahne, 66, of Medusa died August 18 at the Albany VA medical center after a long illness. He was born in Brooklyn, December 6, 1920, son of the late Carl and Holly Cunningham Hahne. He graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School, was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Naples and the Rome-Arno Campaigns. He received the European-African Middle Eastern Theatre ribbon, two bronze campaign stars, purple heart with oak leaf cluster, combat infantry badge and the good conduct ribbon. He was a past member of Clark White Post 589 American Legion, the Greenville Rotary Club and the James Austin Lodge 555 F &amp;amp; AM, He retired from the Stevens-Hahne Agency as president in July, 1982. Funeral arrangements were at the convenience of the family. Surviving are his wife, the former Britta Anderson; three daughters--Carlotta Morris of Medusa, Nadine Duncan of Dover Plains, Britta Lovegrove of Berne; four sons--Grant Hahne of titusville, Florida, Bruce Hahne of San Francisco, California, Carl Hahne, III, of Medusa, and Neil Hahne of East Durham; and 10 grandchildren. Those who desire may contribute in his memory to the American Cancer Society. &lt;br /&gt;
