+William L. Gotha of 19B Sheridan Village, Schenectady, husband of the late Bessie Hallenbeck, died Sunday morning, May 26, (1974) at Fairfax, Va.

+When he retired from his musical groups and iron work business in Albany, he and Mrs. Gotha moved the [[b:Berne|Berne]] where they made many friends. He continued to do iron work in the area and they conducted a boarding home for elderly women at the home on Main St. They were both faithful members of St. Paul's Lutheran church where he sanf in the choir ansd served as custodian and she was active in the Sunday church school and Lutheran Church WOmen groups. Later they moved to a small apartment in Schenectady and Mrs. Gotha passe away last February.

He is also the brother of Mrs. Helen Mill, Mrs. Hazel Ecker and Mrs. William Haenlein, and is also survived by 13 grandchildren and eight great-granschildren.
