==Death==
Robert's wife Sarah died first in 1904 and he followed in 1910.<ref name="Bernehistory"/> They were both buried at the Westerlo Rural Cemetery in Westerlo.<ref name="Bernehistory"/> When their son Albert died in 1916, he was buried with his parents at Westerlo Rural Cemetery.<ref name="Bernehistory"/>
