On Saturday morning last, J. C Bogardus, of Knox, received a telegram from Beaumont, Texas, announcing tbe death of his uncle, B. D. Crary.<br />
<br />
Mr. Crary was the youngest son of the late Nathan and Hannan Crary,born at Knox. N. Y., July 12, 1819, graduated from Union college in the early forties. He was subsequently principal of Johnstown academy. In August, 1843, be married Anna Littlejohn, sister of the late Bishop Littlejohn of the diocese of Long Island. He is survived by three sons, Charles, William and Nathan, and two daughters, Ella, now Mrs. Shiverick, and Miss Anna Crary. The family home is at Omaha, Neb., but for many yearshe has been stationed in Texas as the agent of Korns Bros., brokers, of New York.<br />
