Clickman,<br /> 81, died Monday at St. Peter's<br /> Hospital following a short illness.<br /> Mr. Clickman was born Oct. 27,<br /> 1917 in Knox, son<br /> of the late Newton<br /> and Arlie Kimball<br /> Clickman, and was<br /> a lifelong resident.<br /> He was a self-employed<br /> dairy farmer<br /> for 22 years<br /> and worked in<br /> sales at Helderberg<br /> Bluestone in<br /> East Becne for 11<br /> years.<br /> In 1973, Mr.<br /> Clickman established<br /> the Clickman<br /> Insurance<br /> Agency, Inc., and<br /> was active in the<br /> business until his<br /> death.<br /> He was a member and elder of<br /> the Knox Reformed Church, and a<br /> member of the former Mr. and<br /> Mrs. Club of the church.<br /> Mr. Clickman always had a garden<br /> until the last few years, and<br /> was active at his home until he<br /> suffered a stroke Jan. 19.<br /> He was a member and past treasurer<br /> of the Knox Volunteer Fire<br /> Company, a member of the Helderberg<br /> Kiwanis Club and the Knox<br /> Historical Society, and a former<br /> member of the town of Knox Republican<br /> Committee. He served<br /> Marshall Clickman<br /> as one of the original town supervisors,<br /> in 1945. He was a member of<br /> the board of the Prospect Hill Cemetery<br /> and served as president of<br /> the board for many<br /> years.
