''Died, suddenly of heart disease, Saturday morning, Feb. 25, Nelson Billing Sr. aged 70 years, 11 months and 12 days. Mr. Billings was a veteran of the late war. The funeral arrangements were in charge of Chas McCulloch Post G. A. R., No. 645, of Berne. The funeral was held in the Lutheran church, Tuesday, at 10 a. m., when the services were conducted by the Chaplain, Rev. Mr. Pendall and the commander. Mr. G.W. Steiner. The flowers used for this solemn and impressive ceremony were beautiful.
