Andrew was born between 1765-1770, the eldest son of [[John Armstrong]] (1736-1814) and Johanna _______.

Andrew was a farmer, and in 1813 was Justice of the Peace for the [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guilderland,_New_York Town of Guilderland]. He moved to Charlestown, Montgomery Co., between 1804-1810, and returned to [[Knox]] before 1813. He moved to Wright, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schoharie_County Schoharie County] in 1829, and then back to [[Knox]] before 1840.

==Marriage & Children== 
He was married, possibly twice. One wife was [[Mary Williams]] (b. 12/12/1800, d. 3/4/1889). His children were:
*[[William W. Armstrong]] (b. 7/9/1817, m. 9/25/1845 [[Lucinda Schuyler]]. Moved to Chemung Co., NY in 1864)
*Isiah, who lived in Wisconsin;
