The Prose of Millie Ball Willsey
Revision as of 15:31, 29 October 2012 by JElberfeld (talk | contribs)
Millie Willsey was the wife of a farmer and the mother of a large family. She certainly must have had many chores to do on a daily basis but she still found time to write her prose and do her painting, she was indeed a remarkable woman. She was well known for the beautiful painting she did on cups and saucers. Millie was born in 1889 and passed away in 1978. A pamphlet containing all of Millie's poems was given to each family member at a family gathering at the Willsey farm on June 25, 2006 which would have been Millie's 117th Birthday.
