Henry Binns established Binn's Grove as an early place to swim and have picnics at the south end of Warner's Lake. Eventually he built several camps for the fishermen and campers who would come during the summer months. It was also known as Binn's Landing where he rented row boats. The story is told that he had the first telephone on Warner's Lake.
